Bachelor’s in Computer Application (BCA ) is a 3-year undergraduate degree program. It aims to familiarise the candidates on knowledge of the basics of computer application and software development. A BCA degree is considered to be at par with a BTech/BE degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. With the rapid growth in the IT industry, there is a great demand for IT professionals throughout the world.
Eligibility Criteria
The basic BCA Eligibility criteria for admission to BCA courses are as follows:
- Candidates should have passed the Class 2 Examination/PUS with any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce), with Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- The candidates must secure 50% or above in aggregate in Class 12 examination.
- Selection will be made based on the combined performance of the candidate in the qualifying examinations, Entrance test, group discussion and interview.
